Summary of Amended Fire Protection Ordinance Ordinance 2022-05

 

Please take notice the Town Board of the Town of Phelps, Vilas County, Wisconsin, passed Ordinance No. 2022-05, an amendment to the Fire Protection Ordinance 2015-03, on September 14, 2022.

Section 2, Membership and Organization, Item No. 4:

Any nominee for membership shall be presented to the Phelps Town Board for a comprehensive background check and a medical evaluation procedure approved by the Town Board.  If nominee is currently a member of the town crew, a medical evaluation is not required.
