Good Afternoon,

Vilas County Highway Department will be placing emergency weight limits on the Vilas County Trunk Highway (CTH) System effective Wednesday February 7, 2024 due to the unseasonably warm temperatures and forecasted rain.

I anticipate that the emergency weight limits will be lifted when temperatures return to normal and the road beds refreeze. I will notify when restrictions are lifted.

 

Please refer to the attached notice with list of CTH’s  that are exempt from restrictions or map.
