The Phelps Park Commission
Mission statement
The Phelps Park Commission strives to provide the best possible park system for the Town of Phelps residents and our out of town visitors. Whether it be competitive, recreational, or relaxation, our parks have what you are looking for.
The Phelps Park Commission is responsible for the development and maintenance of Wavering Park, The Phelps Shooting Range, the North Twin Boat Landing, Lake Front Pines Park, Old Beach Park, Long Lake Boat Landing, Smoky Lake Boat Landing, and Kentuck Lake Boat Landing.
The Phelps Park Commission is made up of a 7 person board with each member serving a 7 year term. Current board members are: Dave Selby, Dick Schultz, Jon Ward, Debbie Jo Vold-Tank, Karol Wilson, Josh Hedberg, and MacKenzie Vold.
The commission monthly meetings are held the first Monday of the month. Meeting time is 5:00 pm.
