Phelps is Seeking Applicants for the Park Commission (Volunteer)

Phelps is seeking civic-minded and outdoor-loving citizens to fill two Park Commission openings.  As part of a team of 7 volunteers, you will provide steerage and recommendations to the Town Board on how to enhance and beautify Phelps’ parks, trails and boat landings.  The Commission meets with our full-time Parks staff on the first Monday of the month to assess Parks status and to lay out and manage future improvements.  Applicants should be willing to periodically champion and oversee small projects and report status at monthly meetings.   Interested persons may contact the Town Office for an application or find an application online at townofphelps.com.  Applications may be submitted to Town Clerk Sheryl Ward by mail – Town of Phelps, PO Box 157, Phelps WI 54554; or email [email protected].
