Picnic in the Park sponsored by the Northwoods Living Care Foundation is scheduled for Wednesday, June 26 from 5 to 8:30 pm at Wavering Park.  Hamburgers, brats or pulled pork sandwiches with potato salad or chips, and a cookie will be offered for $8 a plate.  Sandwich only will be $6 and kids under 10 get a free hot dog, chips and juice.  Soda and beer are available for an extra charge.  Cathy Grady, foundation president, said, We offer this picnic to the community as a thank you for all their support of the foundation throughout the years.  We’ve planned a great family night  with food,  entertainment by The Pine River Band, raffles, face painting, and a carnival.”
